Woer (002130.SZ) was selected into its flagship index-the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (referred to as FTSE GEIS), marking that Woer has received further attention from international investors. The selection will take effect before the market opens on March 23, 2020.
FTSE GEIS newly included 88 Chinese A shares, of which there are 10 large-cap A shares, 7 mid-cap A shares, 67 small-cap A shares, and 4 micro-A shares. In addition, some A-share targets that have been previously included have undergone market value classification adjustments. According to previous official estimates by FTSE Russell, this expansion is expected to bring in passive capital inflows of US $ 4 billion to A shares.
